Our Story

I’m Emma, the founder and designer behind First Light Paper.

As I look around the world, I feel a deep longing for faith-based designs that truly reflect beauty, intention, and belief. Too often, what I found felt cheesy or outdated—and I knew there had to be something more meaningful. That desire became a mission: to create beautiful, Gospel-centered products that encourage hearts and draw people closer to God.

Every design you see is hand-lettered and illustrated by me, created with both prayer and purpose. I pour my heart into each piece, hoping it brings a little light and encouragement into your home. Knowing they find a home in yours fills me with so much joy!

I’m a graphic designer by trade, an art teacher, and a mom of two. From my home studio, I carefully pack and ship your orders, grateful to be part of your story.
